Attention Timpanogos Archery Members,
    
We will be having 2 club meetings this month to discuss club issues and the upcoming Bowhunters Rendezvous; the first will be this Friday, July 9th at 6:30, and the second on July 13th at 6:30. Also, there will be work being done at the range on Saturday & probably Sunday (July 10th and 11th) so feel free to come and help. 
   
The Annual Rendezvous shoot is very fast approaching. It is July 16, 17, and 18.  (See attached flyer) as many of you know this is a huge shoot that basically generates the funds for the club to go on and to be there for us to enjoy in the future. The club needs your help in making it possible and a success. Please plan on helping if you can at all. Even a little bit will go a long ways. (Something to keep in mind is that next year we will for sure be enforcing the pay for hours not accounted for rule; see the bylaws for any questions).
   
For the shoot we need help in a variety of ways. Hauling trailers (about three) up to the location and/or back. Help with  Raffle prizes, pretty much anything that an outdoor person or sportsman would want is welcome at the raffle, so whether you get something donated or hand make something, that tim e or value can be put towards your hours. 
   
This is a huge shoot to set up and take down . There are about 60 targets that need to be set up, the large tent that takes about 10 people, the practice range and smoker round, and a variety of other items. We set up during the day on Thursday July 15th. If you can help out during that time or some of that time it would be greatly appreciated. 
   
During the shoot there is a variety of things that need to be done, such as helping with registration, helping with the long shot, being a judge that goes around with the smoker round contestants, maintaining the courses, helping with the clay pigeon shoot and dinner on Saturday night, and a variety of other item’s. (Keep in mind that there is camping there and Strawberry Reservoir is close, so take the  family for a vacation and come get some hours and help out the club at the same time). 
   
Each member is responsible to sale at least one book of tickets each for the raffle.  They can be picked up at the next meeting or we will try to have some at the range. The more you sale the more  money the club makes and better it will be in the future. 
   
Please let me know what you can help with or when you can help so we can make plans, and try to have the right amount of people in the right places at the right time. Thank you and don’t forget that we expect the club members to have some fun, shoot and visit as well. So we will see you all there and remember to tell everyone you know about the Rendezvous. 
   
Also, a big thanks to everyone who has helped out at the previous shoots and around the range. It is very much appreciated!
